Arizona Loses First Motion in Ninth Circuit: Hearing Set for November 2010
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has denied Arizona's motion for an expedited appeal from Judge Bolton's order granting a preliminary injunction of key parts of SB 1070, with an early hearing date in September. Instead, the court of appeals has set a hearing for November 2010 in San Francisco in accordance with the court's normal scheduling rules for preliminary injunctions.
